Abstract

This paper intends to make balance of the five years of implementation of the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Advances and challenges in the implementation of the paradigm shift imposed by this Convention in the treatment of disability in International Law of Human Rights, in national legislation and its social diffusion will be analyzed.
